Tell us more about your role in HR Cloud?
I work as the Chief Technology officer. Responsible for the software platform development and delivery as well as the company’s security and technology infrastructures. Developed and executed technology roadmap and strategy aligned with company’s growth goals.
What is the most difficult part of your job? But the most rewarding one?
I usually like working on multiple things at HR Cloud and that at times is tough as I have to juggle between multiple projects and interfacing with multiple departments. When we get a good testimonial or a review from our customers that is the most rewarding part of my job in addition to meeting the company’s goals.
Is there anything that you would change about your professional path?
Yes, if given an opportunity I would like to focus more on Technology and building products than focusing on other things related to sales, marketing etc. as I do here.
What’s your key strategy for the development of your company?
It is primarily keeping our customers happy. If we can keep them as a customer we can upsell newer products to them. They can be our product advocates and can give us referrals.
Also I believe in building strategic partnerships and building integrations so our customers benefit from them.
What do you think about the next period of time, keeping in mind the pandemic and the new business climate? How will your industry be affected?
I hope there will not be another Pandemic like COVID-19 in our lifetime. I think the businesses had a tough time adapting to the new work from home culture. Now that WFH is a norm, companies have invested in tools and processes to work with this setup should there be another pandemic.
