Who is Max Glubochansky?
Co-founder and CBO of Careerist.
What’s the story behind Careerist.com?
The idea of Careerist was born when Max began to help friends and acquaintances to get into the IT field. Over the years he helped many of them to find work at top companies such as Apple, Intel, Google, and Facebook. Eventually, more people heard about his success stories and they began contacting him daily for help.
Max says, “I knew I was onto something special when everyone kept calling.”
Careerist has since gone from strength to strength!
What was the most difficult part of your experience in the early beginnings?
The most difficult part was leaving the comfort zone of a job at Apple and trying to create something from nothing.
I’m happy that I chose to take the risk. But it was hard work to create not just another course, but to learn from all the mistakes of our competitors and to create the best possible course for our customers.
What are you most proud of regarding your business?
We are very proud that our graduates (90% of whom have no technical background!) are getting well-paid jobs ($65,000 to $110,000) all across the U.S., in 30 states so far, and recently in Canada too.
Also, 150 of our graduates got jobs in the past three months! A job search usually takes 2-4 months for our graduates
We are very proud of everyone involved!
What is your vision for the future of Careerist.com?

Because of the current economic climate our publication has started a series of discussions with professional individuals meant to engage our readers with relevant companies and their representatives in order to discuss their involvement, what challenges they have had in the past and what they are looking forward to in the future. This sequence aims to present a series of experiences, recent developments, changes and downsides in terms of their business areas, as well as their goals, values, career history, the high-impact success outcomes and achievements.
